Signature Property Group is holding their annual canned goods drive at all of our Signature properties to collect food, monetary donations and spread awareness of the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest, NC.
The staff is also getting in the act by issuing a ‘Wear Your Jeans to Work Day’, which we are calling our ‘Core Values Pride Day’, with the cost to wear their finest denim being $1 a person! This will occur monthly so by the end of the year we can reach our internal goals and help fight hunger in North Carolina!
A big thank you to the Second Harvest Food Bank for the incredible work that they do!
From the Second Harvest Food Bank:
When people do not have access to enough food to power them through their days, the costs are borne by us all. Hungry children cannot learn. Hungry adults cannot be productive. Hungry communities cannot grow and flourish.
Together, we can feed hope and feed our community. Across Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC’s 18-county service area, 1 in 6 people struggles with food insecurity. More than 1 in every 4 children lives at risk of hunger and many seniors are facing choices no one should have to make, including whether to buy food or critical medicines.
